Lacy's Birthday

Lacy is offically 1 years old! What a whirlwind this year has been!! She is becoming such a big girl! She is up and walking (no more crawling for her!). She is such a busy little girl she walks from room to room. She especially loves to open the dresser drawers and emptying the contents! She is also trying out her little voice with lots of new words. She says "Oh wow!"..."Yeah!"..."Ouch"..."No no no" She is such a smart little cookie. I'll ask her questions and she'll say "yeah" or "no"! It's so much fun!

So to celebrate the little lady's birthday we had Grandma Petersen, Jan, Joyce, Will and all her cousins, and since my family was in town, Grandma & Grandpa Davis, and uncle Wes was able to come to the party too! We made glorified tacos for dinner and my mom brought the cake. Lacy is no rookie at knowing what cake is (thanks to spoiling from grandma beth and the aunts ha ha). As soon as the cake hit her high chair she got a huge grin and dug right in!


Lacy's birthday party was scheduled on the new years eve, (a day after her birthday) to accomodate schedules. My parents came in from New Mexico and brought with them a whole bunch of fireworks with them. Jared, Wes and my dad had so much fun lighting off the fireworks and I'm sure making all the old farts in the neighborhood mad at the new people who just moved in! ha ha
The next day Bryan and Celinda had decided to come up and stay with us for a few days. It was so much fun to have all my nieces come over! Kaylee was in heaven playing with Kelsey and Lindsey and cuddling with Sadie! Here are some cute pictures of all the girls playing in the backyard.
