Anna Mae

Anna Mae died today. She was special to all of us kids. She lived as a maid/cook/caregiver/best friend to my grandmother, Velva Skousen. Anna Mae moved in when Grandma still had little ones in the house and needed the help. Ever since then she has been with Grandma, and even though they drove each other crazy, they were very dependent on each other. It seems fitting that Anna Mae would do in death what she had done in life...follow Grandma's lead. I'm sure that Grandma was there to greet Anna Mae when it was her time. We love you and will miss you!!!
