Our new house

Can you believe that we moved 2 days before Christmas, and in 2 feet of snow?? It was definately an interesting move and being from the valley, something that I've never had to experience before! After being at Jan and Joyce's house for a few months we were so excited to move into our house. But we miss seeing Jan and Joyce and go over to their house often! We are all so grateful for their unselfishness and examples of service!

Our new house is on an acre lot and has beautiful views of the pine trees. It has a huge deck that I'm excited to use once we have better weather. The only bad thing about out house is that it's solid wood. And I'm not talking about the construction. The inside is SOLID WOOD! Every room is covered from floor to ceiling in wood paneling. At least it is real wood and really pretty...but it's still all wood so how in the hay am I supposed to put up vinyl all over the house?! Anyone who knows me knows that interior decorating is important to me and I totally don't know what to do with all this wood!

Okay, anyway...also in January Wesley moved in too! We have a mother-in-law house in our backyard. It's a small little house that is seperate from the rest of the house and it has a bedroom and bathroom. Wes was excited to move out and spread his wings. Since Jared is still in North Carolina it was so nice having Wes here to help me out with the little things guys do around the house.

Also in January, on a sad note I had a miscarriage. I found out that I was pregnant with twins. Jared was in North Carolina and it was really hard not having him here for support. But thankfully my family was here helping Wes move in and they were able to take care of my kids while I went through the miscarraige.

While my parents were here my mom took the grandkids on a walk around the neighborhood and also did her trade mark "sink bath" with Lacy, here are some fun pictures from the month of January!
