I thought this is awesome! This is our ward building, it's a framed picture of Jared's great-great-grandpa, Niels Petersen. He was the one who settled the town of Pinedale and was the bishop for many years. I think that he looks a LOT like Jared does! He has the same nose, lips, and cheek bones. The eyes are wider but the same shape has Jared's!
The next bishop was Neils brother-in-law (also related to Jared) and the 3rd bishop is Jared great grandpa! These men went through so much and have so many cool stories! It was neat to see the pictures in our church and to remember what his family went through so that we have this beautiful church, and a strong family legacy to lean on! Awesome!
