Sleepy Lacy

Lacy is such a great little sleeper! We were W.O.R.R.I.E.D. when she was born because she just would not sleep! She would only sleep for 2 hours day or night and then be up for 5 or 6 hours and then sleep for only 2 more hours. I am the type of person that needs good sleep or I turn into a crazy person. Until she was 3 months old she did this 2 hour sleep thing and I was quickly becoming a nutcase. Then one night I put her down at 9pm and she didn't wake up until 7am. I still woke up all night worried that she had SIDS or something because she NEVER slept like that before. I don't know what triggered it, but all of a sudden she just got the swing of things and started sleeping through the night. She goes to be at about 9:00pm and she wakes up at 9:00am! I couldn't be happier with it too! Ha Ha As long as she gets her good night sleep and then gets her 3 naps during the day she is such a little angel. But any slip up in her sleeping schedule and she turns into a rotten little pumpkin. ha ha

Since she started crawling at 6 months old it only took her a few days before she was pulling herself up to things. She walks up and down the couches, pulls herself up to chairs and if you stand still long enough she'll crawl over to you and pull up on your legs. So it was only a matter of time before she realized she could crawl up the sides of the crib. Lacy doesn't cry when she wakes up.She talks to you herself. haha It's really cute.But I have to make sure the baby monitor is on and turned up because she will talk to herself as she pulls up to the crib. One day I was upstairs doing laundry and she was quiet, so I thought she was sleeping. All of a sudden I turn around and see this...

Ha Ha She pulled down her bumper pads and was peeking out at me! She's so adorable when she wakes up and is full of smiles. It's a great way to start my mornings!
