Kitchen Fun!

Jared's mom came and stay with us for a couple days since she was on vacation. Lacy was throughly spoiled and loved every minute of it! Friday morning I made strawberry crepes for breakfast. Grandma Petersen was getting ready for the day so it was just me and Lacy in the kitchen. I put her on the counter so she could help me make breakfast. First, she held the milk for me...
And then she helped me pour in the flour for the crepe batter...notice how she got a little smudge on her nose!...


Later that day I was cleaning the kitchen and Lacy was crawling around. Making the normal rounds, trying to find anything small enough to fit in her mouth off the floor...All of a sudden it got quiet. All mom's know this "quiet"...it's the kind of silence that tells you that they are up to no good! I look in the kitchen, no Lacy. I looked in the living room, no Lacy, I looked in the bathroom, no Lacy, I looked on the stairs, and in the front rooms, no Lacy. I started getting panicked! Then I heard smacking sounds coming from the pantry. She had never crawled into the pantry before, so I was surprised when I found her sitting in the pantry with a mouth full of Oreos! Kaylee had made a lunch and left the Oreos on the bottom self. Lacy crawled in there, and helped herself to the cookies! Little monster! ha ha ha ha
