Grandma's funeral was a week or so ago. It was a beautiful service, even though Lacy relished the quiet chapel because she could hear her little squawks and squeals echo! I had to get up and go into the cultural hall so that we didn't disrupt anyone. After the funeral we went to the graveside service. We were on our way when we realized two things, 1.) we were below empty on gas, and 2.) I forgot my debit card at home! So I had to run into the bank, stand in line, get cash, get gas, then run to the cemetery. We pulled up just as they were saying the closing prayer. :( I was so sad because I felt like I missed the whole thing. We went back to the church house for the luncheon. The relief society did a great job on the luncheon, and as I was sitting there, I looked around at all the family in the room and realized that grandma would have loved to have been there. She was always scheduling family get togethers, and she never missed any shower, birthday, or family party! Here are some pictures of the party...

Dustin flew in from Washington for the funeral. It was great to see him again. We miss him so much since he's been gone. Here's a picture of Dustin and Lacy at the luncheon...

Dad with Aunt Denise. Notice how they both have the same silly face! Guess it runs in the family!

Lacy showing off her "Standing" skills. Jared holds her feet in his hand and balances her. She has this face on her that shows how much of a big girl she feels when he does it! ha ha

Uncle Russ playing with Kaylee. He loves to razz the kids!

Grandpa Davis playing with Lacy!
