My First Vegetable Garden!

For my birthday present the Aunts helped me set up a vegetable garden in our side yard. We did something called "Tarp Gardening". It's when you treat & till the ground then lay black plastic over the top of the garden, you cut holes in spots where you plant. This helps keeps weeds out and keeps the ground nice and warm and helps the plants grow better!

Here's what I planted in the garden:

• Butternut Squash
• Crook Neck Squash
• Cucumbers
• Mint
• Chocolate Mint
