HOLY COW my little girl is 9 years old! When the heck did this happen?! For Kaylee's birthday we had all the family over and we made her a yummy dinner and then we had cake and some home made mint chocolate chip ice cream (her favorite).
Lacy was all to happy to help her big sister open her presents! She got so excited you would have thought that the presents where for her! ha ha
Jan and Joyce came to the party and they just love to spoil our kids! Kaylee made out like a bandit with a bunch of new toys and her favorite movie Madagascar 2. A few days before her party we were over at the aunts house and I over heard Kaylee talking to Joyce. Kaylee and I had to have a talk about money being tight since Jared lost his job and that this year her party presents might be a little slim, but we would try hard to make the party fun for her. So while Kaylee was talking to Joyce she said "You know, I'm counting on you guys...." I said "KAYLEE! What are you talking about??" and then I noticed that she was going over her birthday present wish list with Jan and Joyce!!! ha ha ha ha All the kids know who to go to be spoiled that's for sure! They are awesome aunts, thanks Jan and Joyce!!
Kaylee's big wish list was anything "Littlest Pet Shop" Here is a picture of all her new loot she got at the party!
I was shopping for items for the birthday party and I needed to get a new mop for the house. When I brought it home I showed Jared and said that since it was pink, maybe Kaylee would help out cleaning the kitchen more often! Jared started laughing and said that we should wrap up up the handle with wrapping paper and put a bow on it and give it to her as a birthday present as a joke! ha ha ha She thought it was so funny when Jared brought in her "present" ha ha ha
