PREGNANT

So I was at Safeway today grocery shopping and as I walked down the aisle I saw the pregnancy tests. Just off the top of my head I thought maybe I'd get a test and take one in a week or so if I didn't start. Later that day I went to the bathroom and the test was on the counter so I thought, why not...

Well it came back instantly with a bright blue line saying "pregnant" Kaylee was nearby so I yelled for her and told her. She jumped up and down and got all excited. I gave Lacy a hug and asked her if she had a little brother or sister who was excited to come to our family. Even though I know she's only a year old and probably didn't understand, it was so sweet because she crawled up to me and gave me a HUGE, long hug. It was so sweet.

I called Jared and he was excited. I started bawling and asking all sorts of questions on how we are going to do this or that. And telling him that I hadn't had time to forget how much being pregnant stinks to be pregnant again! He just laughed and reassured me that everything will be okay, and we have time to work out all the details. I'm so lucky to have such a sweet husband who is so supportive!

I looked up my due date and it turns out that I'm due on Jared's birthday, August 23rd! So here starts another chapter in the Petersen Family! Everyone stay tuned, it's sure to be a full year!
