First Snow!

Me, Kaylee, and Lacy drove out to BFE to see Jared's brother, Micheal's new house. It is a HUGE ranch house up ontop of a hill on a 600 acre ranch. It has a deck that wraps around the entire house, and is filled with huge fireplaces and a kitchen that made me instantly green with jealousy!

We had fun getting a tour and helping unpack their house. Mike made some tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for us for dinner. Lindsey was sweet enough to break open Miley's old baby clothes and give us some warm winter clothes for Lacy.

It was fun hanging out, when all of a sudden it started raining so hard that it felt like the house was going to get washed away down the hill. I thought about waiting for the rain to let up before we ran out to the truck, when Beth called and said that it was snowing in Show Low! That meant that the roads were going to get worse and we needed to get. So Mike showed me how to put the truck in 4 wheel drive and we were off!

The snow started coming down so hard that I could barely see the hood of the truck! I was driving like 15 miles per hour and paranoid because I knew there were lots of little 4 way stops that I knew I was blowing through the intersections and I was so worried I was going to get T-boned. But I couldn't see the stop signs! Finally the snow let up a little bit so I could see better and we were SO EXCITED for the snow we decided that it felt like Christmas so Kaylee and I started sing Christmas Carols!

The next morning a lot of the snow had started melting, but Kaylee was still excited to go to school for the first time in the snow! Here's a picture of her off to school! We can't wait until it snows again!!!
